Janice Clark – Director
Janice Clark has served the Pleasanton Unified School District at many of our school sites for over 15 years. She has worked at all levels (K-12) both as a teacher and as an administrator. Ms. Clark resigned her position as vice principal of Foothill High School in 2004 in order to open Steps Community Prep School. With her experience in the district, she was able to bring together PUSD’s top performing teachers for the purpose of providing additional academic support for students during after school hours. Understanding the rigorous curriculum and increasing demands for college applications, Ms. Clark, along with her exceptional staff of Pleasanton teachers, is committed to helping students improve their academic performance, achieve greater academic success, and reduce the level of stress our students are experiencing.

Laura worked as a tutor herself throughout her college career, and brings a wealth of knowledge regarding the college application process and the preparation necessary to gain access into one’s college of choice.
